What costs and taxes are added to the purchase price?
The answer depends on whether the seller is a private person or business, whether VAT applies and whether the Italian “prima casa” relief is available. Notary, licensed partner, geometra, translation, lawyer and bank costs may also apply, so obtain a property-specific estimate before making a binding commitment.
What does a geometra check?
An appointed geometra or other authorised technician can compare the cadastral plan, actual condition, planning permissions and possible irregularities. The exact scope and liability depend on the written appointment; technical due diligence does not replace notarial or legal checks.
Why are there no property listings on this website?
